Justin telah mengkonfirmasi bahwa ia akan merilis sebuah album baru, BELIEVE ACOUSTIC. Pada saat di sebuah acara The Ellen DeGeneres Show Justin mengatakan bahwa album barunya itu akan dirilis pada tanggal 29 Januari mendatang. 

"Kadang aku berpikir inilah yang disukai oleh fans karena aku pertama kali muncul di Youtube juga memainkan gitar. Aku rasa kali ini akan lebih fokus," Justin tulis di Twitter-nya.

Kabarnya album ini akan berisikan tujuh lagu yg akan di Acoustic-an di album Believe sebelumnya dan juga Justin menyisipkan beberapa bonus track untuk album barunya ini.

Saya sangat mengerti dengan fansku, karena mereka telah memberi tahuku bahwa aku pernah menyakiti mereka karena sikap saya terkadang. Dan aku minta maaf jika aku pernah menyakiti mereka. Karena aku tahu, aku adalah seorang yang spontan. Dan rekadang, aku tidak tahu apa yang sedang aku kerjakan, tetapi aku hanya seorang manusia. Dan saya sangat minta maaf jika saya pernah menyakiti satu diantara mereka (Beliebers). Mereka terkadang marah padaku saat di internet. Mereka pikir aku tidak akan pernah merespon apa yang mereka bilang atau tanyakan kepadaku. Tapi aku melakukannya, aku melihat semuanya, Dan jujur, air mataku jatuh ketika aku melihat mereka berkata "AKU TIDAK INGIN MENJADI SEORANG BELIEBER LAGI". kalian bisa bertanya kepada semuanya, Ryan, ibu saya, bapak saya bilang, bahwa saya itu telah berubah, dan saya pikir, tentu saja, aku memang sudah berubah. Aku bukan seorang anak yang berumur 15 tahun lagi, yang ditemukan di youtube. Aku itu tumbuh besar, dan Beliebers sejati saya akan mengerti itu. Dan aku menghormati keputusan mereka jika mereka tidak ingin menjadi seorang beliebers lagi, dan aku mencintai kalian yang masih menjadi seorang Beliebers untukku. jika aku bisa, aku akan memeluk semua Beliebers saya, satu demi satu. Orang orang yang tidak menetap menjadi seorang beliebers, dan orang orang yang masih menjadi beliebers, yang pernah mendukungku.
